FAQ

Is Peerkets part of Polymarket?

No. Peerkets is an independent peer-to-peer layer built on top of Polymarket. It isn't run by or affiliated with Polymarket.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Peerkets charges no fees, and gas is covered by Polymarket's relayer. You pay or receive exactly the agreed price.

Do I need a new account?

No. Connect the wallet you log in to Polymarket with. See Before you start.

Why do I need a relayer API key?

Polymarket wallets can only move funds through Polymarket's relayer. Your key lets Peerkets submit the transactions you sign — it stays in your browser tab and is never sent to our servers.

Where are my shares while my offer is open?

In the Peerkets escrow contract. They can only go to a buyer who accepts, or back to you when you cancel or the offer expires. See How funds are held.

Can I cancel?

Any time. The unfilled part comes straight back.

What if someone buys only part of my offer?

You're paid for that part immediately. The rest stays open.

What happens when my offer expires?

It can't be filled any more. Click Get my funds back on the offer (or anyone can return them for you) — they always go back to you.

Can I trade after a market closes?

Yes — until it resolves, including while the result is disputed. See After a market closes.

Why don't I see an offer someone sent me on the board?

Reserved offers (for one wallet) only open from their link. And offers on tokens Polymarket doesn't recognise never appear — be careful with any link that shows a warning.

Is it safe?

Funds can only move to the two people in a deal, and you can always cancel. Peerkets is in beta and its contract hasn't had an external audit yet — see Risks and start small.

Peerkets is in beta and is not affiliated with Polymarket. Not available to U.S. persons or in restricted regions.
